員山鄉結頭份社區

結頭份社區位於員山鄉東北部，是歌仔戲的發源地，有無可取代的歷史地位。為保留傳承歌仔戲文化，社區自助成立歌仔戲班，扎根在地文化。耆老座談資深戲迷回憶當年落地掃，廟口夜戲，採收後謝神請客時工人自娛娛人演出，日治時期帶著草蓆滾歌仔躲警察，以故事繪本重現當年看戲的場景。目前歌仔戲班缺乏常態演出與練習的空間，社區寄望成立結頭份歌仔戲文化館以活化在地的台灣戲劇瑰寶。

Yuanshan Township’s Jietoufen Community

Jietoufen Community, located in northeastern Yuanshan Township, is the home of Taiwanese opera and holds an irreplaceable cultural status. In order to preserve and pass on Taiwanese opera culture, the community operates a self-funded Taiwanese Opera Troupe. During scheduled talks, elderly opera fans shared their memories of opera performances from their youth, including night performances in front of the temple and harvest celebrations featuring local farmers as a thank you to the gods. During the Japanese Occupation, opera singers would try to evade the police with their straw sleeping mats rolled up under their arm. A storybook was published to depict some of these exciting scenes from Taiwanese Opera history. Currently the Taiwanese Opera Troupe lacks a permanent rehearsal and performance space. The community hopes to set up a Jietoufen Opera Culture Museum to revitalize this Taiwanese cultural treasure.
